Our personal experience is that we also have less complication with peg components.  In osteoporotic bone that we sometimes see in the middle east, the keel component glenoid preparation can sometime lead to intra and postoperative fracture.

For chronic irrepairable cuff tears less than 2cm, this may be a good option for repair the authors reports.

Nonoperative treatment for anterior cruciate ligament injury in recreational alpine skiers - Online First - Springer

Nonoperative treatment for anterior cruciate ligament injury in recreational alpine skiers - Online First - Springer

This article mirrors my thoughts, no rush to do surgery.  Surgery especially in patients older than 30 years must demonstrate instability.  In younger patients, not so sure that this is the way to go.

AMRI Study of Associated Shoulder Pathology in Patients With Full-thickness Subscapularis Tendon Tears | Orthopedics

MRI Study of Associated Shoulder Pathology in Patients With Full-thickness Subscapularis Tendon Tears | Orthopedics

Although I think this is interesting.  I do not understand how this is clinically helpful or relevant except for correlating larger subscap tears with decreased CH distance and higher fatty degeneration.  How is this helpful?....this is only descriptive.
